MYRIAME DACHRAOUI
JAN-FEB2025
Born. 1994 in Tunisia, she is a self-taught painter currently based and working in Tunis.
Her primary mediums are oil and digital painting, drawing inspiration from her own experiences. Through dreamlike landscapes and cities, she explores themes of solitude, memories, and heritage, unveiling each aspect of her subconscious vision with a dark and bluish palette of colors.
Initially trained as an architect with experience in animation cinema, her background allows her to challenge perspectives on the canvas, playing with depths and adding multiple layers of tones and colors.
She was a resident at l’atelier Selma Feriani in 2023. Recent exhibitions include an open studio at l’atelier Selma Feriani gallery in Tunis (2023), Boundless/Binding in Los Angeles (2024) and Levitate in London (2024).
Her work is part of numerous national and international collections, including Selma Feriani Gallery and Touria Al Glaoui, founder of the 1-54 art fair in London.
