YBA RESIDENCY

OUR HISTORY

Launched in September 2024, the YBA Art Residency by Yosr Ben Ammar Gallery is a newly established program located in the vibrant heart of Bhar Lazreg – La Marsa, Tunisia. Conceived as a dynamic hub for artistic innovation and intellectual exploration, the residency is designed to support artists, curators, and researchers through a thoughtful and stimulating environment for creation and reflection.

Nestled between the serenity of its architecture and the energy of its surrounding community, the YBA Residency offers a space conducive to deep introspection, experimentation, and bold exploration. Residents are encouraged to push boundaries, take creative risks, and engage with the unknown in their practice.

More than a creative retreat, the YBA Residency serves as a laboratory for experimentation, where ideas are not only conceived but also tested and refined through interdisciplinary dialogue. It aims to become an essential platform for emerging and established voices contributing to contemporary cultural discourse.
