ST4 THE PROJECT

ST4 is a Tunisian artist duo formed in 2013 by Mohamed Sadk Kaffel (b. 1994) and Yassin Bouzid (b. 1996) in Sfax, Tunisia. Rooted in graffiti and ultras culture, their practice began with public art and site-specific installations influenced by everyday life and the socio-cultural landscape of southern Tunisia. Their abstract visual language responds to and blends with local environments and communities.
Now based between Tunis and Paris, ST4 has developed a hybrid practice that merges studio work with contextual, in-situ experimentation. They explore themes such as duality, DIY culture, and vernacular architecture, using sculpting, painting, and installation to create a layered, ambiguous artistic vocabulary.
Recently relocating to Paris, they are engaging with new techniques and perspectives that contrast with their first decade of practice. Their development has been enriched by studies at Les Beaux-Arts de Paris and participation in the Villa Belleville residency.
