TOM EGOUMENIDES

Tom, a Tunis-based visual artist and designer born in 1986, explores the intersection of sculpture and social design by reimagining and poeticizing everyday and discarded materials. His work views the urban environment as a rich source of materials and stories, which he reshapes to redefine our man-made world.
In 2024, he debuted his first solo exhibition, “Meta Morphée”, at the Yosr Ben Ammar Gallery in Tunis and was nominated for the Institut du Monde Arabe’s Design Prize 24.
Recently, he concluded a three-month residency at the Misk Art Institute in Riyadh, furthering his research on materiality and obsolescence.
