Mehdi Bouanani (DaBro), painter, lives and works between Paris and Tunis.
A graduate of the Institut Supérieur des Beaux-Arts de Tunis, he develops a practice centered on the portrait, which he explores through various mediums — charcoal, spray paint, acrylic and oil. His work mixes urban and cultural influences, revealing human figures imbued with emotion and life.

Active on the international scene, Mehdi Bouanani has created several major public murals, including a portrait of Farhat Hached inaugurated in Paris in 2013. He has participated in iconic projects like Paris Tour13 and Djerbahood, consolidating his reputation in contemporary urban art.
His work, rich in dialogues between Tunisian and European cultures, is regularly exhibited in France, Tunisia, Spain, Italy and Switzerland. He continues to develop an engaged approach, sensitive to questions of identity, memory and belonging.
